Laura arrived tonight from Holland!!!  It was a very late night at the airport and she is now in quarantine for awhile until we can have her at home.  She is a phenomenal mare in every way and we couldn't be happier with her.  Another Thank-you to Janko at the VDL for finding us this great Keur Elite mare that is proven in sport and breeding (and is in foal to Flemmingh!!!).

Jennifer just completed a course one Biomechanics, Applied Anatomy and Gait Analysis with Dr. Hilary Clayton, internationally renowned biomechanics specialist. The course covered conformation evaluation as it applies to biomechanics, angle measurement, structure and function of the forelimb and hindlimb, the stay apparatus, and video analysis of movement. The expertise of Dr. Clayton ensured this to be one of the most significant courses in order to truly understand the horse.  Dr. Clayton has done some incredible studies that give excellent insights of the horse (and the rider!).

Our filly Kajun Queen K has been sold to Sabrina Nobbs from Vancouver Island in BC.  Kajun is an incredible filly by Popeye K and we hope Sabrina all the best with her in the future.
We are very excited about our purchase of a gelding by the stallion Wallenstein as a competition horse.  Whiskey Jack is a gorgeous dark brown 17.3hh Warmblood gelding who is a solid 3rd level dressage. Has scored in the 70's in dressage and also has won in jumping up to 3'9 courses and medal classes.

It has been an exciting past few weeks for us.  Jason took a trip to the Netherlands and visited the van der Lageweg family (VDL Stud).  We were very lucky to purchase an Keur Elite Sport Dressuur mare by Wellington.  Laura is trained and competing at Z2 in Holland and she will be Jennifer's new dressage mount after she foals her fabulous Flemmingh foal next year.  Laura has had one other foal in Holland that is already a Ster mare.  We are very excited about this mare because she is proven in sport and breeding.  She will be coming to Canada in a few weeks.

Saralaida, our Irish Thoroughbred mare, left for her new home in the much warmer New Hampshire.   She has a long trip ahead of her but I am sure she will enjoy her new home at LaddBrook Farms.  LaddBrook breeds Irish Draught and Sport horses and stands the incredible imported Irish Draught Stallion, Cradilo.

Cheval aka 'Hershey' was very successful at his Oldenburg Inspection today.   We decided to wait to brand him until next year because they are using a different brand this year and the new brand will be used next year.  We have updated our Sales page with new pictures of him.
