Great News!!! Flemmingh is receiving his Preferent status from the KWPN. This is the
highest rating a stallion can receive in Holland from the KWPN indicating he is of the
highest quality and contribution to the breeding program.

We have put some mares back into training this year and we feel we have maxed out
on our limit of horses. Prices on our horses Western
Lady (2003 KWPN Reg B filly by VDL Arctic), Cheval (2002 GOV gelding by Cambridge) and Flash Dance (2002 gelding by Kodachrome) have
been reduced. Bargin day at the fair!
November 12
Jennifer has achieved the Equine Body Worker Certification. This means that
she has successfully completed the Equine Massage Therapy course and fieldwork with the esteemed International Equine Sports Massage instructor
Debranne Pattillo. This course was incredible for really understanding the equine
anatomy and the endless benefits of massage and stretching for our beloved equine
partners!
October 19
Weaning has commenced!!! Weltina
is now the very responsible 'Substitute Mom' of Witaura
and Western Lady. They all get
along great!
Sacha is confirmed in foal the Olympic Concorde. With both sire and damsire earning the
Olympic predicate this combination has 'Olympics' written all over it.
~ Olympic Concorde x Olympic
Ahorn ~
We will have Lianda checked again but it looks like that is all for this year. We
are very proud of our fillies!
September 15
Spruce Meadows was once again an incredible event not to be missed! We spent a fair
amount of time at the KWPN/NAWPN booth promoting the exceptional Dutch horse, watching the
very challenging $1,000,000,000 CN on Sunday and of course eating at all the great
worldwide venues... gotta love it!
We also were excited to have Lianda and Sacha's previous owner from Holland, Monique
Seinen stay with us for a night. We took Monique for a ride on our palomino
quarterhorse in a 'western saddle' for her first time ever. Quite an exciting
experience!
Finally the Alberta Keuring was great. We were saddened that we did not bring any of
our horses but after our loss this year we decided to keep everyone safely at home.
Hopefully next year!
Weaning will commence soon but for now things quiet and peaceful around here.
August 22
We have added some horses to our Sales Page!!!
And new pictures of Rianda (Lianda's
daughter) from the PAVO Cup in Holland. She was again ridden by Alex van Silfhout (once
member of the Dutch Dressage Team).
August 6
We had some great news from Monique Seinen of Fokkerij Seinen in
Holland about Lianda's daughter, Rianda. Rianda competed in the first round in the
Pavo cup at the Centrale Keuring in Exloo and she was 3rd of 28 horses with 70%!
This was only Rianda's 3rd competition. She is now invited to the semi-finals in
Ermelo. Lianda produces top notch horses.
July 30
It is such an horribly sad day. Our beautiful angel, Wylanda aka 'Ruby', has died
today. She had a freak accident and we were unable to save her. She was one of
the nicest fillies we have ever raised and we are all devastated and heartbroken. I
know these things can happen but to have bred such a spectacular filly and have something
so horrible happen it is just so hard. Life is so very precious and should never be
taken for granted.
July 15
We have finally posted some pictures of all our new Dutch Girls! Weltina, Wylanda, Witaura and Western Lady. Check out the 2003 Foals for new pictures.
July 14
We took Lianda to be bred to Olympic Ferro. We are very excited about a
Ferro x Flemmingh next year! Both are incredible Keur stallions.
June 28
Girls, Girls, Girls!!! It has been a great week of foaling and we now have
4 beautiful Dutch fillies. We are very pleased and thankful after such a long wait!
June 27
Once again another Dutch treasure has arrived. Laura, our Keur Elite Sport mare, had
a beautiful and very feminine filly by Flemmingh at 4:30am. The filly is a
black/brown color with 4 white socks and a half moon star. She looks just like her
mom!
Our mare BoPatches decided not to be left out and foaled yet another filly by the imported
Dutch stallion VDL Artic (Indoctro x Ahorn). This filly has the most beautiful head.
We have posted some pictures of Lianda's new filly Wylanda taken at 6 days old in the 2003 foals
section.
Weltina is happy to finally have some new friends.
June 26
Jason completed a dentistry course with Todd Williams who is a renowned Master Dentist.
This course was excellent for understanding the horse's mouth and problems that can
be associated with horse's teeth.
Jennifer completed a course on Equine Nutrition taught by Shannon Pratt of Guelph
University in Ontario. Excellent course covering the digestive tract, different
types of feeds, ration balancing using algebra, mares and growing foals, and other
specialty diets.
June 22
Another dutch treasure has arrived! Lianda, our ster Flemmingh mare, had a huge,
correct, beautiful filly by Farrington at 3:10 am. The filly is a chocolate color
with no white markings but it looks like she will be dapple grey like her full sister
Rianda. Pictures coming soon...
We are hoping that the last two pregnant mares will get excited about the new addition and
foal soon! We are exhausted from watching the video camera's all night.
June 15
Guess What?... Nothing! The mares are holding on to the foals extra long this year and we
are totally exhausted from watching video monitors all night for weeks now.
Hopefully soon we will have some more dutch treasures playing in the field.
June 1
We were so excited to find out Sacha is confirmed in foal to the great KWPN stallion
Olympic Concorde. "The last three years Concorde was the sire with the most
offspring at the World Breeding Championships for young horses. Concorde was the youngest
stallion ever to be awarded "preferent" due to his endless list of national and
international children". With the top bloodlines of Olympic Concorde x Olympic
Ahorn we are hoping for another future champion.
May 13
We received more great news from Monique Seinen, previous owner of Lianda Ster, in
Holland. Lianda's daughter, Rianda Ster not only received the Ster predicate but she
is also competing at L level dressage and the prestigious PAVO cup. We have posted
recent pictures of her on Lianda's page.
She is gorgeous!

May 11
Our imported Dutch mare Sacha by Olympic Ahorn was bred to Olympic Concorde on
Sunday. We now have to wait and see if she is in foal. We have high hopes for
the foal born from these Olympic proven bloodlines.
I finally completed the classroom portion of my Equine Sports Massage certification
course. It was quite intensive and very hard. We were required to speak, spell
and massage 80+ muscles with long Latin and Greek names and the full skeletal system.
Equine sports massage can provide many benefits including greater range of motion,
better stamina, comfort for muscle injuries, enhance performance and gaits, improve
circulation and improve disposition.
April 25
Yesterday we had good news from Holland but today we just received some very unfortunate
news from VDL Stud that Nimmerdor, Stallion of the Century, has passed away in his sleep.
Nimmerdor was an amazing stallion and we have a lot of his blood in our mares
through his sons Olympic Ahorn and Wellington.
April 24
We have received wonderful news from Monique Seinen in Holland that Lianda's elegant
daughter, Rianda, by Farrington received the Ster predicate from the
KWPN. Lianda is in foal once
again to Farrington for a June 2003
foal.
April 8
We have posted, under 2003 Foals, some pictures of our new dutch addition that was
imported in utero from Holland with her mother. Her name will be Weltina aka 'tina'.
April 5
The first of many treasures was born on April 5, 2003. Sacha delivered a strong,
tall, correct and very pretty filly. The bloodlines are Flemmingh x 'Olympic' Ahorn.
Pictures coming soon of this beauty.
March 25
We have set up the video camera in Sacha's stall. She is due around the beginning of
April and is starting to show all the right signs of the the upcoming foaling. We
are very excited to see what she will produce since this is her first foal. The foal
is Flemmingh x Ahorn x Farrington.
February 17
The report from Kathy Hickerson at Magestic Gaits of the stallion show was "The best
of the young stallions was by far the Flemmingh and Krack C sons. Even the audience was
most excited when they made their final selections. The #1 stallion selected was a
Flemmingh x G. Ramiro Z, so that was very exciting for Flemmingh. It was fun to see
Flemmingh come out with the keur stallions and show himself off. He is such a well behaved
stallion and so cool when all the others are misbehaving." With all of this and
Tornado, Flemmingh x G.Ramiro Z, being the KWPN champion stallion this year, we are so
excited about all our upcoming Flemmingh foals. Also, we have posted some new photos of
our new mare Keur Elite Sport Laura. She is quite pregnant but still enjoying herself in
the deep snow on a finally sunny day.
January 22
It is a freezing -38C tonight with the very cold windchill. All of the mares are warm and
snug in the barn. I bet they wish they were back in Holland after experiencing this cold.
We wish we were, especially for the up and coming Stallion show and Select sale. We plan
to go for sure next year!
January 13
Top Dutch dressage rider, Edward Gal, has bought a Flemmingh x Wellington as a prospect.
This is the same bloodlines as the foal that our recently imported Keur Elite mare, Laura,
will be having in the coming months. Anky Van Grunsven has also bought a Flemmingh x
Meridian. The Flemmingh line is a strong, proven line with such offspring as Krack C
ridden by Anky and their great performance at World Equestrian Games in Jerez. Another
example is the approved stallion Kelvin, Flemmingh x Ahorn, who was also trained by Anky.
Our Sacha will also be having a foal of these same legendary bloodlines. Great stars are
coming soon!
