A picture perfect career: after winning one young horse class after another and gaining marks up to 10.0 in his 30-day test, Balou du Rouet successfully “landed” at the 1.50m level. Already in 2005 he caught everyone’s attention by scoring the highest mark of 9.2 at the national championships, making him one of Germany’s top 4 licensed stallions. His enormous jumping talent, combined with great elastic gaits and a fascinating charisma make Balou du Rouet an exciting choice for the breeders of sports horses. Once again, Balou du Rouet emphasises his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement, with numerous foals at many different auctions. He continuously produces finalists for the German foal championships. Offspring of Balou du Rouet have been approved at almost every stallion licensing – most notably the licensed “BE BRAVO”, who sold for € 350.000 as the most expensive horse of the 2007 AOS auction. His number of approved sons has amounted to over ten stallions. As a descendant of Baloubet du Rouet - gold medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and an incredible three-times successive World Cup Champion – he has one of the most successful jumping
stallions on the international scene in his pedigree. His grand sire Galoubet is a son of the great stallion Almé and was already an international success at the young age of seven. He won team gold in 1982 at the World Championships. On the dam’s side, Balou du Rouet is directly related to the founder of the bloodline, Cor de la Bryere, from Holstein through Rantzau xx. The offspring of the dam’s sire, Continue, achieved lifetime earnings of over € 230.000. Numerous licensed stallions are descendents from the dam line. Balue du Rouet – the future has begun with impressive achievements as a producer!

Sire Baloubet du Rouet, at the moment one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international stage has an exceptional pedigree. Three-time World Champion jumping horse, and repeat Olympian, Baloubet du Rouet, under Rodrigo Pessoa, has thrilled audiences and pushed the boundaries of show jumping worldwide. In 1999 he won the World Cup in Gothenburg for the second year running, an incredible achievement seen by only three horses since the start of the competition. Baloubet du Rouet's dam, Mesange de Rouet, had eight wins from 13 outings at four years of age, and five wins from 12 outings at five. She is also mother of Unadore de Rouet. Her sire, Starter, is a noted sire of broodmares. Grand dam, Badine, also produced Globule, dam of Nemo de la Fosse and Urcos du Rouet. In addition to his World Cup win, Baloubet du Rouet, was a finalist to the championship of the world as a six year old and champion of France as a seven year old. Baloubet du Rouet's first offspring inherit his bold athleticism and are very promising, already placing him well on breeding indices. Gonzague du Rouet and Gershwin du REIS, are both winners in CSO. Gatsby Vandrin sold for a record price as a five year old for 850.000 FB. Waldman sold as a foal for 700.000 FB at the sale of Maline, and Bahlmannz sold as a foal for 475.000 FB at the sale of Zangersheide. This stallion stands for capacity, honesty and precision in jumping. Like his world-famous rider, he has set a new standard for modern show jumping. Grandsire Galoubet is son of the great stallion Almé. On the dam's side, through Rantzau, he is directly related to the founder of the bloodline Cor de la Bryere from Holstein, the likeness can be seen in Balou du Rouet's jumping style and ability. His stunning dam, Georgia is by the increasingly popular Contender son, Continue.

Balou du Rouet has strongly inherited his father's genes and emphasises his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement with numerous foals, who at various auctions have all been sold for above-average prices.
